Bandhavgarh Wildlife Tour

Day 01 - Arrival - Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport you will be met by our representative transferred to your hotel in Delhi. At hotel you will be given short briefing of tour and handed over all necessary travel vouchers and other documents required during the tour. Rest of the day free .

Day 02 : Delhi :
Afterbreakfast at the hotel, our representative will introduce with the english speaking tourist guide for the full day sightseeing of new Delhi. We will best utilize the day with visit to Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi). Here we will visit to World Heritage Red fort, Jama Masjid (counted in largest mosques in India), rickshaw (3-wheel manual driven cycle)ride of narrow passages of Chandni chowk area. You will fine the site as busy and crowded area. It is a wholesale hub of northern-India. Here we will find places of worship of different religions just close to each other, example of harmony.

Day 03 - Delhi -(By Flight)- Jabalpur -(By Car)- Bandhavgarh
We will take flight for Jabalpur from Delhi. Jabalpur is the nearest Airport to reach Bandhavgarh. On reaching Jabalpur Airport, we will be transfered by car to Bandhavgarh. Distance between Jabalpur Airport to Bandhavgarh is 215kms and will take 05:00 hrs duration. On the way to Bandhavgarh we will pass through villages, forest area, geographical central point of India etc. On reaching Bandhavgarh, we will have lunch and just relax for rest of the time. We may go for local market visit or explore nature inside resort boundary. After dinner, go for sleep to wake up early in the morning for game drive.

Day 04 - Bandhavgarh National Park
On early morning we will go for our first game drive in Bandhavgarh forest. We will try our luck to find some tigers in forest and have chance for elephant safar to attend Tiger show. Take another game drive in evening. Important place to visit inside Bandhavgarh is Sidhbaba, Chakradhara, Sita Mandap etc. Commonly seen animals are: spotted deer, wild boar, Tigers, leopard, barking deer, chowsingha, blue bull, fox, hyena etc. Indian Gaur were present in Bandhavgarh till 1998. Effort are on to rehabilitate them in Bandhavgarh forest from Kanha National Park.

Day 05 - Bandhavgarh National Park
Begin the day with morning game drive of Tiger Reserve. Later in the afternoon, we will go for Bandhavgarh fort visit. It is a different from usual game drives as here vehicle goes at the top of the hill (811mtr) to visit fort, temples, large statues, bird watching point etc. Things seen at Bandhavgarh Fort visit are: Fort, rock-cut Ponds, Bandhavdheesh Temple, Kabir Temple, statue of lord Buddha, Ganesha, Vishnu, Varah, Boar, Fist etc. Fort was under Baghel dynasty of Rewa and rulled by them. It was abandoned in year 1617 and become fort of tigers. Take evening game drive.

Day 06 - Bandhavgarh - Delhi (By Overnight Train)
We will take our last morning park safari in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and after lunch drive to Katni railway station (100kms/02:30hrs) to board evening train for Delhi.

Day 07 - Delhi - Departure
On reaching Delhi, move to hotel. We will utilize rest of the day in examining the engineering work of Edward Lutyen's like India Gate, Parliament House, President House from allowed distance. We may also visit temples like Akshardham temple, Lotus Temple, Birla Temple etc. If required do some shopping. Later in evening drive to the Delhi Airport to catch the flight for onward destination.
